Urgent Prayer Requests!
I had to take time to stop and ask for your prayers. I received a call Friday afternoon from Hubby that involved my 1st cousin, (Jim T), who had a heart attack and underwent a triple by-pass surgery. He is 42 years old. From what we heard yesterday he may have had a stroke too. Please pray for him and for his family. Although I don't get to see him very often, he and I grew up together, and that is something you never forget. Pray for God's healing power to come down and touch him.
The next is a young lady, (Kayla B), at our church. My friend S called me this morning to ask me to pray for her. She has been experiencing headaches lately and was taken to the ER last night. She has been admitted and is undergoing tests for what they "think" is a tumor at the base of her brain. Please pray for her and her family. I cannot imagine what they are going through as parents and seeing your child sick or not knowing what could be wrong. I do know that with what Mom has been through, God will sustain them. He is our constant when all the world around us seems to be crashing down.
I'm asking you to pray for these two and ask your friends to pray. I know that God hears our prayers!
Love to all,
Carrie

You are right HE does hear us. I have got numerous text this morning, a prayer chain for Kayla. We are praying hard for her. Lots of kids are praying! Isn't that wonderful! I love it when kids send that kind of text, they know God can help! Please keep us informed on her progress. Have a good week girl. You were on the wall of our church yesterday!!! Pictures from the trip. I'm saving a CD for you and the sisters! Love You!

Hey Carrie! I hope things go well with your cousin and with Kayla. I fully believe that prayers are heard and answered! If Granny taught me anything, it was to rely on faith in God to get us through!

I'm assuming you've heard the good news about Kayla? Not a tumor? Not a life-threatening condition??

Praise the Lord!
