Small Town Living

The nice part about living in a small town: When you don't know what you're doing, someone else always does.

I'm the one, Now is the time, This is the place

To say it's been awhile since I've posted on here is quite an understatement. Let's just say life has been pretty busy. Excuses, excuses I know.

I wanted to catch everyone up, if anyone still peeps in here, about Mom. I took Mom for her check-up last Thursday. What. A. Day! First off was blood work, check. Next was the stress test. double check. She passed it! Had it not been for orthopedic reasons, I believe Mom could have went in a full blown sprint. Yes, my Mother has been on the heart transplant list for going on three years now. Last but not least, a visit with the doctor. He had mentioned to Mom a month ago about the idea of taking the pic line out. Long story short. The pic line "should" come out before Thanksgiving. Her heart appears to be healing itself. Nothing short of a miracle from God. He has answered Mom's prayer. She has always had the Faith that she wouldn't have to get a heart and that if God saw fit, that she wouldn't have to live with a pic line. Ain't God good! She has one more test to pass before this becomes a reality. Needless to say we Praised God and giggled all the way home. Not to mention celebrating with a double cheese burger, fries and a cherry coke! Mom hasn't had this menu in 3 years...:)

Changing gears now. Yesterday we had a visiting preacher for youth Sunday. Did he ever bring The Word! I've never been so challenged to spread the gospel for Jesus Christ. My how I have failed Him. People it was time I said, "I'm the one, Now is the time, This is the place." God has been too good to me for me to not shine the Light of Jesus Christ. I want the world to know that I'm His and He is mine and that He is still in the miracle business! His hand has been on Mom. No matter the outcome with Mom I will proclaim His goodness and mercy!

Thank you all for your love and prayers!
